FAQs
How do I purchase a ticket?

Go to our Oxex page, select the relevant release, sign in with your SSO if prompted and check out.
Will there be Alumni tickets?

Yes. The next release will include Univ alumni tickets, priced at £185.
Why are tickets more expensive this year?

Based on feedback from the survey sent out over the summer, most students wanted a longer ball with more entertainment, food, and drink. We’ve prioritised delivering that while balancing rising costs and keeping prices as reasonable as possible.

Access tickets are available to ensure the price increase doesn’t prevent anyone from attending.
How am I paying for my ticket?

Student tickets will be charged to your Hilary battels, which means no payment is required now. Your ticket is only valid if you pay your battels when due, otherwise they will be cancelled. Guest tickets are paid by card.
Can I resell my ticket if I decide not to go?

OXEX has its own ticket resale platform, which means you are able to list your ticket, and it will be offered to people on a waiting list who will pay OXEX the ticket price, and then the ticket price will be refunded to the seller via OXEX. This means markups are not possible.
How do guest tickets work?

All Univ students can invite one guest. However, there are fewer guest tickets than student tickets. This means not every Univ student will be able to bring a guest.

After purchasing your ticket, you’ll be able to generate a guest invite link. You can share this link with your guest, who can then book their ticket when guest sales open (one hour after Univ student tickets). There is a demo on the next slide.
Will there be a general release?

Depending on availability after Univ students have purchased their tickets, we may run a non-Univ Oxford ticket release.
I couldn’t buy a student ticket earlier because of technical issues with the ticketing platform, can I still get my ticket?

We are aware that some students faced technical difficulties with OXEX which meant they couldn’t purchase their ticket earlier this week. This issue has now been resolved. We have made more tickets available so students who couldn’t get one earlier can purchase theirs now. If you are a Univ student who does not have a ticket but would like to attend, please make sure to purchase a ticket as soon as possible.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Tickets can now be transferred to people with the same status as your ticket status (e.g. student, guest etc) via OXEX.
